# Mechanism

## Step 1: BSC verification

The verification service reads the SPACE ID registry on BSC, chain
ID 56, contract 0x60B9262456dE011F7d15a54CdD8c48bAaa8B022F. It calls
balanceOf and handleOf for the address the user supplies. Verified
means balance greater than 0 and a non-empty handle. Verification
is a read. It never moves funds and never asks for a private key.

## Step 2: Binding

The verified handle is bound to one Solana wallet address. Before
any mint, the handle may rebind only with a fresh .ai proof. After
a mint, the binding is locked by the on-chain MintRecord. One handle
does not grant two bundles through two wallets after mint.

## Step 3: Fragment bundle mint

The user mints exactly one bundle, in one action. The program
requires a verifier co-signature, checks the bundle size, checks
that no MintRecord exists for the wallet, checks the fragment cap,
splits the payment, creates the MintRecord, and mints the fragments.

## Step 4: Merge

A holder with at least 8 fragments merges them into 1 Badge. The
program burns exactly 8 fragments and mints exactly 1 Badge. See

## Step 5: Trading

Trading through the program marketplace settles at a fixed price,
pays the seller 97.5%, and splits the 2.5% fee between vault and
Dev. See Fees for the exact split and for the honest limit: trades
outside this marketplace do not pay this fee.

## What is not in v1

No challenge gate, no leaderboard, no referral system, no staking
system, and no viralitycoin.world mining integration. Those are
either later phases or were never locked for this project. See
